This is how coaching helps.

I meet many people, who are curious to know how does coaching actually help.

Many a time it is confused for counseling or parting advice.

To make it clear, let me share a little story.

A little girl walked down the street.

And she saw a sign “Puppies For Sale”.

Not being able to resist, she rushed to the store.

“How much are the puppies?” She asked the store owner.

“Anywhere between $30 and $50,” he replied.

The little girl rummaged through her pockets and pulled out some change.

“I have $2.37,” she said, “can I please take a look at them?”

The store owner smiled, brought her to the puppy pen, and showed her the four-legged sweethearts.

The cute little balls of fur rushed towards her.

And she noticed that one pup was severely lagging behind.

“What’s wrong with that one?” She asked.

“Oh, we had a vet to take a look at him. Unfortunately, this one was born without a hip socket.

He’ll always limp.”

“I want that one!” The little girl decided immediately.

“Oh, little girl, you don’t want to pay for that one. If you really want him, I’ll give him to you for free,” offered the store owner.

But the girl protested.

“No! He’s worth just as much as the other dogs. I’ll pay you $2.37 today and 50 cents every month until I’ve paid for him in full.”

Confused, the store owner continued…

“But little girl, you don’t really want that one. He’ll never be able to run or play with you like the other puppies.”

The girl lifted her skirt enough to reveal a twisted, crippled leg.

“Well, I don’t run that well myself. And he’ll need somebody who understands.”

To me, this story is the quintessence of coaching.

Coaching isn’t about telling people what to do or how to live their life.

It’s about understanding them, identifying their limitations.

Make them aware of the challenges.

Work with them so that they know, how to overcome their challenges.

Let them realize their full potential

No matter how difficult your upbringing was or how much struggle you had to go through to get where you are…

…everything that has happened in your life is a treasure that is valuable.

And my system empowers you to overcome the struggles and old wounds.

And unleash a better, improved, and transformed version of self.

Let’s connect if that’s something you aspire to be.

See you soon!
