How Much Butter do you want?

Let me share a short story..A long time ago, there was a farmer who was selling butter to a baker.

It was always one pound of butter.

One day, the baker had a doubt if he was getting the right amount of butter.

So he weighs the butter, and to his surprise, it wasn’t a full pound of butter.

Furious, the baker brings the farmer to the court.

After hearing out the baker, the judge asks, “how do you measure your butter, farmer?”

The farmer replied: “Your honor, I am primitive. I don’t have a proper measure. But I do have a scale.”

“Then how do you weigh your butter?” Asked the confused judge.

“Your honor, long before I’ve been selling butter to the baker, I’ve been buying a pound of bread from him. Every day when the baker brings me my bread, I give him the same weight in butter. If anyone is to be blamed, it is the baker.”

The moral of the story is quite evident, we shouldn’t expect more than what we give.

The rule, “Give More to Get More”, is as much applicable to life in general, as to any specific aspect.

For example, to earn more money, one needs to deliver more value.

Building your dream life whether personally or professionally works the same way.

Consider yourself as the baker.

The more effort and energy(Bread)you put into your career the better it will flourish(Butter).

The quality & quantity of your bread(efforts) will determine the weight and taste of your butter(life)…

Even before aspiring to realize your dream life, the questions to be answered are:

Do you have clarity on what needs to be done?

Why do you need to do it?

How you can do it?

If NO, I would be happy to help once you are ready..Let me remind you, without clarity dreams don’t translate into reality. They continue to be trapped in the cage of wishful thinking.

Clarity is very crucial to achieve anything in life.
